Happy Hanukkah!!!
Hello friends! Today is the fifth day of Hanukkah!
We have been cooking and baking up a storm this week, trying to finish gifts in time for our family gift-exchange on Sunday. We also went ice skating yesterday with some friends at a nearby rink, which was soooo much fun! (Our only complaint was that we couldn't upload our own music playlist onto their sound system's queue! If so, we would have blasted Broadway soundtracks or the Maccabeats' Hanukkah songs!) How are your holidays going? Have you tried any new recipes or crafts this year?
We wanted to share our top voted 2019 Hanukkah Parody Videos (voted upon by yours truly) with you all to enjoy! Hope you like them!

And....
Here...
Is...
Our Hanukkah Donut Recipe!
Ingredients
2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
2 c. vanilla yogurt (or 1 c. milk + 1/4 - 1/2 c. Mayo)
2 Tbsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. confectioners sugar placed in a large zip-lock bag
Instructions
Mix ingredients in a bowl until it becomes a sticky batter. Let rest 20 mins. Heat 6 c. of oil in large fry pan to 375 degrees and when hot, start to drop in spoonfuls - minus the spoon - of dough. When cooked, place donuts on plate covered with paper towel to absorb any excess oil.
When donuts cool, toss with confectioners sugar in a ziplock bag to coat. (If you shake them while they are still hot, the confectioner sugar, as well as your bag, will melt!)
Voila! Enjoy with a glass of eggnog, tea, or coffee!!
P.S We also tried making our own eggnog this year, using the recipe Here, and we can attest that it is "most excellently pleasing to the pallet"!
Love,
Grace and Katherine
