Blogaversary

Greetings and salutations one and all! We are here, on this festive occasion, to announce that it is our first Blogiversary!!!!!!

Can you tell we're excited!!!!!

To celebrate we wanted to do a GIVEAWAY!!!!! (Oh yes, we are determined to do this right!!!) But you see, I (Grace) thought we needed more of a reason for said giveaway, so
BEHOLD
our very first
PERIOD MOVIE QUOTE MATCHUP!!!!!!!!!!

To enter the giveaway, take the quiz in the comment section down below, answering which quote goes to which movie from the provided list. Hopefully this will be semi-challenging for you; we tried to put in a few obscure quotes and some we just think are hilarious for no apparent reason. The quiz will be open for a week starting March 21 and ending midnight March 28th, so if you wish to enter our giveaway, it would be most beneficial to do so during that period of time! We will announce the winner a few days after the contest has ended.

The Grand Prize

The grand prize consists of:
A small trinket for your jewelry box
Some of Mamma's finest soap
A Paris water flask

And so without further ado...

The Quotes

#1 "The Bishop is coming!!!"
#2 "That ceiling is very crooked"
#3 "I would marry the lowliest girl in the village if I loved her"
#4 "Isn't it a tidy sum?"
#5 "You are a very difficult woman"
#6 "I'm not saying she was very silly, I'm saying one of us was very silly and it wasn't me"
#7 "I see know what begins as a dream can end in a nightmare!"
#8 "It looks like rain"
#9 "This is very bad wine"
#10 "I hope you know any fooling passion on my part is entirely over; I'm looking to the future"
#11 "Isn't butter divinity?"
#12 "I wouldn't marry a man that was really wicked, but I'd like to marry a man that could be wicked and wouldn't."
#13 "No! I don't like fairy beasts!"

  1. Hi, Grace and Katherine!
I've been reading your blog for awhile now, but I realized I've never commented! How silly of me! Anyway, your posts are always so much fun. Happy blogiversary!

    8. Sense and Sensibility (This is the only one I know for certain.)
    10. Miss Potter

  2. 11 is from Little Women, I think. (Period movies don't tend to be my preference, so that's the only one I know, lol.)

  3. Happy Blogaversary!! :D *throws confetti*. Thank you for hosting this giveaway and contest! It's so fun!

The only two quotes I know are:
    11. Little Women
    12. Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel

And then I think 10 is from Miss Potter. I've only watched it once, but wasn't it a delightful movie?!! :D
