Week Eight of The Scarlet Pimpernel Read Aloud!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello there!

How are all you ladies and gents doing?

Have you recovered from the food stuffing holiday that is Thanksgiving??

Are you all preparing for snow as it is DECEMBER ALREADY???? As usual the year has flown by and here we are at the end of another year!

Ready to dive back in to the madness?

The two emotions from reading these chapters:

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! WHAT A CLIFF HANGER!!!!!!!!!

At the end of our chapters "someone" is singing "God Save the King", so here is adorable Julie Andrews singing the song when she was 13!

With Chauvelin's character becoming more apparent, it gives us the perfect opportunuty to interpose Chauvlin's solo song, "A Falcon In The Dive", sung marvelously by this young man in a high school production of The Scarlet Pimpernel Musical.

And this is the video Mr. Fipps had his class watch:

And here is another video we found to help assist any of

you french wanabies in polishing your accents! :)

See ya'll next week!!

P.S. This week's fan art...

  1. The "Mr. Fipps" part made me think so much of Singin' in the Rain! It made me laugh so much.

For the rest of it, ACK! SUCH A WAY TO END A CHAPTER! I'm on the edge of my seat wanting more, now!
